Process Electronic Check Payment

 

1. Login to the Customer Portal.
2. Select customer from the drop down list.
3. Click the Review Your Recent Shopping Cart Entries button.

 

 

The iPermits Shopping Cart Management screen lists all shopping carts you are currently monitoring in the Customer Portal.

 

Click on the appropriate Shopping Cart Number button to select for payment.

1. Click the Select To Pay checkbox for the sales order that is pending payment.
2. Click the Recalculate button to calculate the total amount due.
3. Click the Make Online Payment via Credit Card or Electronic Check button

 

 

 

 

NOTE: Depending on the type of purchase, this data will be printed on the City issued permit documents. This information must be accurate and up to date.

 

1. Select Individual or Corporation or Firm credit card holder type. Click here to view this step.
2. Enter the payer name.
3. Enter the complete billing address associated with the credit card account.
4. Click the Update Payer Information button to save contact information. Click here to view this step
5. Click the Continue the Credit Card/Electronic Check Payment Process button to enter eCheck payment details.
6. Click OK to begin the payment process. The shopping cart content will be locked. You will not be able to make changes or resubmit a payment request until the shopping cart is unlocked at 5 am. Click here to see this warning.

1. Select eCheck.
2. Enter the Bank Routing Number. To see a sample Routing Number and Bank Account Number, click here.
3. Enter the Bank Account Number
4. Re-enter the Bank Account Number.
5. Select the Bank Account Type.
6. Select the Bank Account Category.
7. If you wish to save this eCheck Account Information, click yes. You can assign a Bank Account Nickname for this account. If not, click no. Your account information will not be saved.
8. Click the Continue button to continue the payment process.

 

NOTE: If you have previously paid with and saved an eCheck account, you can select the saved account from the drop down list.
